This special floofy is more snuggly than ever now that he’s a solo house cat. He stays on my lap or by my side literally all day. Love all the extra snuggles I’m getting from this one, even tho we all miss Meekis.

Another beautiful year at Wright’s Lake. Had some wonderful time with the family (at a distance, of course). Hard not to hug all the fam, but so good to reconnect in the mountains! We survived a lightening strike (so scary!), hiked our butts off, and had a lot of good belly laughs. I’m so grateful for this tribe of mine!

R.I.P Sweet Meekis. Meekis passed peacefully in bed this afternoon after a long battle with kitty cancer. We buried him on the hillside under a big oak tree where he can enjoy the songs of the birdies and the whistling wind above him. As most of you know, Meekis was the nicest cat in the entire world. He enjoyed snuggling more than any living creature. Back in the days when he was "Meekis the Vast," he also enjoyed eating more than any other living creature. Meekis was there for me during some of the hardest times of my life. He was also there for some of the best times in my life. We went through a lot together and I will be forever grateful for the sweet loving energy that cat purred into my heart. It's so hard to say goodbye to my baby, but I'm so thankful for his life and all the magical moments we shared together. I love you, Meeko. Always and forever, you will be my sweet kitty. Thanks to all of you who loved Meekis. He loved you right back! <3

Third year in a row climbing Cathedral and this one was particularly humbling! What I classified in my mind as an “easy climb” felt pretty spooky this time around! Had been about seven months since I touched rock, so felt like a noob all over again. Tuolumne always provides! Thanks to my rope gun lover @toddlesnbits for leading every pitch and being patient while I get back into my groove!
